Inside Sales Representative (Palo Alto)
What we're looking for
JotSpot (http://www.jot.com/) is seeking an Inside Sales rep with strong selling skills and a demonstrated track record of meeting sales targets. JotSpot offers the industry's leading wiki solution that is used by over 1700 customers today. The company is led by Joe Kraus, who was a co-founder of Excite, and was recently named by Business 2.0 as one of "The Next Net 25".
This inside sales rep will play a crucial role in our company's growth and will be responsible for qualifying and closing inbound sales prospects.
Responsibilities
- Respond to and qualify inbound sales inquiries
- Drive the sales process for highly qualified sales prospects
- Arrange and participate in conference calls to execute and facilitate the sales process
- Close sales prospects
- Exceed monthly and yearly pipeline, forecast and sales targets
- Update lead status and record prospect interaction in JotSpot's CRM system
- Manage a pipeline of business and identify milestones in the sales cycle
Qualifications
- 2-4 years experience in enterprise software sales
- Experience in selling collaborative software to workgroups is a plus
- Demonstrated history of consistent goal achievement
- Ability to plan and manage call structure and flow
- Strong opportunity qualification, objection handling and closing skills
- Ability to work in a high-energy sales team environment; team player
- Positive and energetic phone skills, excellent listening skills, strong writing skills
- Strong time management and multitasking skills
- Outstanding relationship building skills with a high degree of integrity
- Proficiency with standard corporate productivity tools (email, voicemail, MS Office)
- Sales training and experience with sales automation/ CRM systems (eg. Salesforce.com or SugarCRM) a plus
- Professional, organized, aggressive, driven, goal-oriented
- BS/BA or equivalent
